"Le Double a pris congé de Pentark où il tenait les guitares pour voguer dans un projet solo aux contours folk. Depuis le temps semble s’être suspendu au-dessus de sa gratte : exit l’électricité, la force brute et l’instrumental, ‘Songs For Magots’ est un album d’une authenticité désarmante mais également d’une richesse et d’une densité confondante. Voici la discussion qu'on a tapée avec lui en guise d’amuse-bouches à son concert qui aura lieu au Botanique le 12 mars prochain. Montauk in February - Broken City Heart

Broken City Heart is a project born from the 30 videos filmed in the huge construction site inside the "galeries de la Toison d'or" in Brussels in May 2009. The disc released on Spank Me More Records is an 18 minute piece created with the soundtracks of these videos, to which were added vibraphone samples played by Valentin de le Court and a piano sample by Nils Frahm. Broken City Heart wanna explore, using the me metaphor of the city, tensions between the will of permanence and the need for change to rebuild new things. And represent, in a dark ambient process, the moment of this change and feelings linked to it. Mastered By Finkle.
